Hi.
Can someone make presets in order to emulate echoplex and others vintage delay devices in MMultiband Delay?
Please
Thanks :tu:

...none of the "vintage" effect units will be multi-band, they were all a single delay line by nature, whether tape, analog sad1024 bucket brigades, or for the most the early digital stuff...in fact they only truly multiband stuff I am aware of are all fairly recent units, including all of the itb plugs...hth.../s~

Obviously true, but I don't understand why this is of any importance regarding ronaldsifontes request.
MMultiband Delay can be used in one single band mode and up to 5 (I think).

So If it turns out you can't emulate vintage delays, it would be because it lacks something essential, not due to the feature of having more than 1 band, unless I missunderstand and you are refering to something different, afterall I have no deeper knowledge when it comes to MMultiBand Delay.

...my thought was to avoid at the outset any confusion over the number of bands to use for the "primary" effect being emulated/replicated...given that some of the other bands could be used with modulators/etc to emulate/replicate the other "noises/sounds" that went along with original units...ie motor rumble/drift and/or "tape snap" found in the old tape units...consider the ability for moving the "play" head while using those old "eccolett"s and "eccoplexe"s.../s~

I don't have MMBD, so I can't send a preset,but perhaps I can give you a starting point.

Set it to use a single band and set the filter to input. Turn up the saturation to a level you like. Use the low pass filter to cut the high end to between 1000hz-5000hz. Set this by ear. You can use the high pass filter too, but it's not as important. Set the time, feedback and level to whatever sounds good to you. Now hook up a modulator to the time and have a sine or triangle LFO modulate it by 5ms to 15ms.

Of course I don't this will get the exact sound of a specific vintage delay, but it should give you the general vibe.

Good morning from Venezuela.
Obviously its not a multiband theme althoug the name of the plugin its MMultibandDelay... but thanks to steve2kvr & Kr3eM for participating. Blessings.
Chandlehimself thanks you very much for your tip/trick. In the album Not Too Late / Nora Jones the delays in voices are greats, if somebody can make presets like this it will be wondefull..
Thanks you to everyone...
