Suggestion for all u-he synths that heve "lock" feature:
Currently lock works on parameter level but I think it should be work on higher "module" level, like you say "lock arp" or "lock filer" or "lock effects" or lock "sequencer" or "lock Oscillators". Someone earlier suggested here lock arp for hive... I didn't see others asking this, maybe I haven't searched enough...
Is it just me, or others would like this too?
For example this video is about Omnisphere and it's sound lock feature, this locks many sections with a click of a button:
I think if U-he synths could do this (locking whole modules), that would be awesome...

+1 for this. I often scroll through presets looking for arps, so I have to lock multiple parameters (arp on, arp time, arp mode, etc.) at once. It would be nice to lock the entire arp module.dune_rave wrote:Suggestion for all u-he synths that heve "lock" feature:

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this, but it doesn't really seem worthy of it's own thread.
Is it not possible to assign the XY controls to mod matrix depths in Zebra anymore? It doesn't seem to work anymore. I definitely have some older patches which I use that feature, so it was possible at some point. It's no big deal, as it's pretty easy to work around. I was just wondering if it's intentional or not.
I'm using the latest demo version of Zebra, if that makes any difference.

pre-defined tags : look at bitwig. They have tags, and categories. And they do read h2p files. They did some work to produce an orthogonal set of tags. If anyone could push it as an standard, any standard, we would be in a better situation than we are now. Patch browsing is a total clusterfuck in most vsts and daws.
So improvement: just use the same tags as bitwig. Autogenerated if possible by looking at the parameters on the file.

On Korg Legacy MS-20, when you drag a cable from one source and just hover (without letting go of the mouse button) the cable end over any potential input, it already changes the sound to how it's gonna sound if "plugged".
Would be cool if we could preview cable routing in ACE like that.

A big fat +1 to this. Especially usefull for Zebra.dune_rave wrote:Suggestion for all u-he synths that heve "lock" feature:

Yep, module-wide lock would be awesome.

Or, perhaps, to be able to group parameters for locking/unlocking... don't even have to be in the same module. More flexible, but could also serve the same purpose as a module lock.EvilDragon wrote:Yep, module-wide lock would be awesome.

Hmmm, no I think I'd prefer a module lock really
Like in Omnisphere.

I think it would be a really nice improvement if rolling the mousewheel over an occupied input would change the cable's color in Bazille.
I like to color-coordinate cables to help me keep track of what's going on in a patch. Cycling through colors by clicking the cable can of course cause the unintended effect of disconnecting the cable, which would be fine except double-clicked cables are for some reason skipped by the undo button (whereas cables that are disconnected by dragging the cable away from the input are undo-able). So I've run into problems where I accidentally disconnect a cable and can't remember where it came from and can't undo what I've done.

That's a great idea! I'll add it to our evergrowing list of feature requests.RazzCE wrote:I think it would be a really nice improvement if rolling the mousewheel over an occupied input would change the cable's color in Bazille.
