Regarding your point: I don't need more than 3 LFO's, or 5-10 envelopes. And i don't have many synths which have such a feature set either. A synth can't have everything. Sometimes the limitation in some regards is the source of inspiration, to quote some sentimental KVR wisdom.
From the KVR product page (description by the manufacturer):
Debatable.Most complete hybrid instrument available
Debatable, subjective.Incredible sound quality
I don't see what's so unique about reverbs, delays, filters, distortions, dynamics processors etc. At the very least, debatable.Unique and powerful effects
Pretty much in the hand of the user. Most other synths with a more or less complex feature set offer infinite possibilities too.Infinite possibilities
See where we are going? There is no company which doesn't do marketing claims which are at least debatable, if not to say, lack any real coherence, or don't apply to dozens of other instruments either. But then, you said yourself that you don't want to create a big debate out of it. It's just a marketing phrase. Forget about it, and now that you can demo Icarus, see for yourself.
