Two more things:
Three instruments improvising some smooth jazz processed by the same instance of MXXXCore using a preset from Transformed Reality, a 2-band setup with modulated harmonics (dynamic eq), stereo action, feedback looping, delay/convolution reverb in band 1 and filtering/chorussing/delaying in band 2 - most of the 7 modulators and all delays are tempo-synced.

Processing Reaktor Skrewell ensemble textures with MXXXCore using a preset from Transformed Reality, the atonal sounds produced by Skrewell are tuned with Zynaptiq's PitchMap before they reach MXXX.

Here comes a stutter-glitch-beat made by processing a simple drum beat in 3/4 (Groove Agent/Colliding World sounds) and a Chrompahone 2 pluck with a 2-band setup with plenty of modulation for grain freeze, synced grain length, delay, wobble filter and more, the LFOs also modulate each others speed for ever changing rhythmical changes. Demo starts dry, then MXXX fades in (->wet/dry)

Something rather heavy:
Processing some electronic drum hits (Tremor) and some industrial sounds with a single MXXXCore preset from Transformed Reality, tweaking the Macros live on the fly. Video starts very dry, the industrial sounds come in a little later.

Really cool sounds! Do you consider providing both dry and wet versions of your demos so one can hear what's the actual contribution of the MXXX to the sound?
Cheers, Thorsten

Quite a few demos start dry so I guess that's enough, and everyone knows how an electric bass or a dry acoustic guitar sounds like or a simple beat, all input sources are extremely dry, I would never mix like that.ZentralmassivSound wrote:Really cool sounds! Yeah I understand. It's just that in some cases I almost can't believe that a single perc sample is turned in such a great atmo, or that some keys turn into a wholesome ambient soundscape.

OK so if I may ask two questions in specific:
The electronic drum hit + "Eternal Combs" preset is really just that? Bassdrum and Snaredrum hit and all the pad like evolving sound comes through MXXX?
And the "Night Trio" demo with a rhodes transforming into a pad soundscape is also just MXXX, no other sounds?

Yes (kick/snare and some industrial impact sounds later in the demo) and half yes (pure instruments with zero FX, 3 instruments -> rhodes/bass/pad sound). It's actually all described in each demo description if you visit the track on Soundcloud.ZentralmassivSound wrote:OK so if I may ask two questions in specific:

Ah ok. Then the Eternal Comb is reeeeeeally coooool.Sampleconstruct wrote:Yes (kick/snare and some industrial impact sounds later in the demo) and half yes (pure instruments with zero FX, 3 instruments -> rhodes/bass/pad sound). Here is another patch using audio morphing (and other things), morphing a flute phrase with a cello flageolet texture, some notes were adjusted in Melodyne - demo starts dry playing only the main and the side-chain input in parallel, then MXXXCore fades in, then tweaking the Macros on the fly live on video. Rather dark and surreal...
