Hi Vojtech,

when I choose two categories in the MXXX browser, it seems that it displays any preset that has one of those categories set (or both). Would it make more sense to display ONLY those presets who have both categories set?

I.e. I was looking for a multieffect that uses a delay (or in other words, a delay with more FX stuff on top making it more interesting). But when I enable the multieffect and delay flags, I also get displayed a lot of other multieffects that don't use delay.

So, maybe this could be changed to combine flags with AND logic instead of OR?

Cheers, Thorsten

I agree, this came up for me yesterday. Usually these tags are ANDs.

Sorry guys, I'm not sure where you are clicking. If I select "Multieffect" in the Active Presets browser I get a load to choose from. If I then click "Delay & Reverb" I get none. In fact there are none here tagged with "Delay & Reverb".

Am I clicking wrong?

Weird. I just tried again and got the correct AND behavior. Perhaps there's a bug as yesterday I swear I had OR behavior. I dont use active presets very often, but I'll keep an eye to see if I can repro it.

My bad, it already does combine them in AND logic. It's just that every effect that has a reverb in it has the reverb flag set, so also guitar amps show up there when they have a reverb unit included.

Found a solution though: I can find the effects with delay as the main purpose in the delay folder. There I can use the multieffect flag to filter the ones containing more FX.

It depends on which category are you searching for ;). Anyways combining category search and the tree search is probably the ultimate way :)
