Hello,
I just bought a used Receptor Quattro last month. It was advertised as having Komplete 9, but it was missing Reaktor, Massive, and Guitar Rig. I went back and forth with the seller on ebay and he finally agreed to refund me some money and I bought a used copy of Komplete 9.
Now I'm having trouble installing it. I followed the instructional video on the Muse site and copied all the installers into the "drop installers here" file on the Receptor. I downloaded and moved the 3.4 kb file (ext .rpm), when I select that and then click "install", nothing happens. The installation wizard never opens.
I then tried switching to Mixer mode and tried installing that way and it failed, now all the installers that I copied are in the "failed" folder.
The guy that I bought Komplete 9 from on ebay has his payment on hold until I give positive feedback, but don't want to until I know the serial works and this is installed.
Please help!
Can't get Komplete 9 to install on Quattro

I am sorry to hear that you don't have the programs installed-guitar rig is my go to for effects. I am not certain it is the .rpm file you need for installing on the newer receptor OS. You should be able to use the installers directly from the Komplete discs. I could be wrong-I haven't dealt with this scenario for quite a while, but try copying the guitar rig and other program files to a computer connected to the receptor, then drag the .exe files into the drop installers here folder on the quattro, then run installers. Good luck!

Thanks. I'll give that a try.
I'll have to search and see if there is a separate video for installing on the Quattro. Not sure why they would change the install procedure.
I also tried doing a direct install of Reaktor, but I cancelled it after a few seconds because I got scared. I think it said something about 3200 MB of content and I thought that sounded too big for just Reaktor. But maybe with Prism, The finger, etc that would make sense.
One of my main dilemmas is that it seems that this Quattro came with Komplete Ultimate 9, minus Reaktor, Guitar Rig and Massive. So I want to very careful that I don't accidentally lose all the extra Kontact content and libraries. It's kind of like buying a used car with a bunch of fancy features and not wanting to lose them. haha

Out of curiosity, I'm wondering where you got your used copy. I need to register mine (on a Tr3io). Where can I find a used auth#?
