Getting in Sync

The other day i recorded some guitar and bass parts and was trying to match it up with some midi drums. The drums where totally out of sync with the rest of the song. (guitar and bass was recorded with click track in the same tempo and sign.)

Should i offset the live recordings with the output + input latency? Or not offset it at all?
