Nice.. I picked up the Waves CLA3a for $16.88 at Plugindiscounts using the GIFT50 promo code. I have had this one on my radar for a while.

Also, make sure to check the prices for upgrading individual plugins to bundles directly on the Waves web site. The GIFT50 promo code also works on upgrades. For example, I own 2 of the 6 Manny Marroquin signature plugins and upgrading to the complete bundle is $35 for me using the promo code. I ends up being $8.75 for each of the 4 remaining plugins I need to complete the collection.

Question 1: Is CLA-3A good for the master bus?

Question 2: I also have a couple of Manny Marroquin plugins. If I/you/we upgraded to the full bundle... do you end up with doubles of the ones you had - ie: do you keep the pre-existing single licenses or are they amalgamated into the new bundle license?

Question 1: I don't know, sorry. I hear/read that it's really good on acoustic guitar/guitars, vocals, bass. I haven't played with it. Watched some videos. Not able to demo it for a few days so I bought it. So cheap I can always resell it..

Thanks for that info regarding - I've just had the same confirmed by Waves. Interesting to know. For example I own about 4 of the OneKnob series... so upgrading to the bundle I would lose the singles.

Being able to sell the pre-existing licenses would really help to offset the bundle upgrade cost. Wishful thinking, hey.

I noticed this too. There's some funny business going on. There's nothing in the Waves terms and conditions about lesser amounts. Audiodeluxe seem to action the full $50, but might be priced slightly higher? Best to log into all the various retailers and compare in-cart discount prices on a case-by-case.

Yes, wishful thinking That is exactly why they do it that way. I think it's fair. The more plugins you already own from a bundle, the cheaper it is to upgrade to the bundle. So of course, you are then prevented from selling the individual plugins that allowed you to upgrade to the bundle at a heavy discount. Can't have your cake and eat it too
