Yeah, morons, geez...I hope all the morons here across the pond do not succeed in electing the orange haired tool to add to the world's woes!!!
And thanks, I always enjoy your Diva presets :)

Fixed that for ya. :D

Thanks for sharing your sound design talents!
The fine people of Great Britain will still have to
do battle with control-freak bureaucrats, but in their
own locales, where revelation of corruption,
and local elections, can still change things.
The EU is swirling around the drain of their own creation.
Let freedom ring. Hopefully there are some nice bell sounds in your
collection. Your Synth1 sounds sure are a delight! As was your
unique distribution of them.

New York floundered for years to complete an ice skating rink,
as cronie contractors sucked the taxpayers for all they could get,
until the redhead stepped in, and proved why he expands
the family fortune, rather than squandering it.

When the Suns and Mirrors of a country side with the populists, things might get messy. It occurs to me that when politicians phones can't be tapped and royal babies keep their ancestors from committing scandals, tabloids need to revert to other ways of creating revenue - even if it means persuading their readers to give up their standard of living. Maybe they also figured that the leisure time jobless people have to read their shit outweighs the risk of them not being able to afford them.

The role of the printed media was only part of it (The Daily Mail and The Torygraph are the principle villains here -The Mirror was for remain, not that it makes much difference).

Growing wealth inequality, a disconnect between politicians and electorate, a dysfunctional two party system, dysfunctional political parties, unprincipled opportunists (Boris), those prepared to tell outrageous lies and to exploit bigotry and racism to further their cause (Farage, Gove), fantasists and utopians on the far left...

That said, very nearly half of us are left utterly despondent by this reckless act of self sabotage. It will not end well.

Sorry Europe.

I've read a new term: "Bregretters". It seems a lot of people regret their Brexit vote!

Maybe there will be a new referendum ... ?

(They should heve made a precaution like a 2/3 majority requirement.)

Ah well... it might all turn out not too badly. Some thing simply might have to happen before people see things for what they are. And that may be very valuable in the long run, e.g. when purging ideologies.

Anyhow, thanks for the patches! I'll check them out!

Mr. Hakey,
I took one of the arp presets, put it in legato mode, gave it some portamento,
increased the gate time, and on the very low octave, two notes played an interesting
and jaunty beat, while on the high octave I played some fun slinky synth lines,
while alternating between random, and up-down arps, number of octaves,
keypress directions, yada yada, (edit: no great playing skill required,
just some applied thought) then moved on playing the results
to some linux fx chains, recorded at speeds of 36, 50, 60 and 70,
to give the ampsims and delays some wiggle room...(wobble room?)
my how the gigaytes fly, and thanks to your generosity.

(psst...don't tell anyone, it was a great Mr Wobble Synth1 arp preset!)

Maybe tonight I'll find that Diva demo for the new sounds.
High end as they may be...I won't dare coin the phrase 'synth inequality'...

Income inequality is easily cured by turning off the TV/facebook, and twitter,
gettting a second job, working your _ss off to become irreplacable
in the bosses eyes, and dragging ones lips kicking and screaming
off the welfare tits, never to return. Freedom and dignity trump
addiction to taxpayer funded benefits, call the pun what you will,
and thanks again, as I plan to delve into even more Hakey sounds,
once I've put some polish on the last one. You great sound designers
rawwwwkkkkkk the house!
Cheers

(as do the Synth creators, Mr. Heckman!)

Yeah, I should have kept these patches to myself or charged for them (that was the original plan - God knows I could do with the money). I knew it was a futile gesture. :)

Some of your CRD sounds remind of Sade taking the concert stage,
quite appropo for Diva sounds. I have your Synth1 Vibres preset in reaper, and the Diva Woosy Vibes in qtractor, both going to rakarrack's
'backward tumble' preset...easily the best vibes sound evah,
layered as it may be, even though the Pianoteq vibes are so good.

There was once a farmer who wanted to raise chickens,
but never could figure out how deep to plant the eggs... :dog:
The future is still out there, whether your cup seems half full,
or half empty. You have a great skill, if not planted too deeply.

Just to be clear, this was a futile gesture in support of progressive ideals, of collaboration, of sharing. I'll just leave it at that.

U.S has got to lower it's worlds highest corporate income tax rate
to much lower than those of the top 20 nations to whom U.S. corporations
have moved, escaping progressive taxes (and those taxes frivolously wasted)

And in the same breath, repeal all death taxes and gift taxes,
so people are FREE to share their wealth precisely as desired.

We don't single out the star athletes and dancing girls,
and make them wear leg weights, to 'make it more fair',
and it's equally absurd to tax the most successful workers
more than their less able, or less motivated counterparts.
Rewarding mediocrity and failure breeds it all the more.
Level the tax rates, and let the cream rise to the top.

Would Native Instruments give their best coders their worst computers?
Surely that would be more progressively fair to a new collegiate hirling,
who barely knows the difference between D and SP.

But that's not how successful businesses are managed,
it's not how championships are won, it's not how
entertainers rise to the top, and it's certainly
not how nations thrive and prosper.
Cheers

This links to a very interesting documentary about the complexities,
risks, and pitfalls inherant in large building projects.
It all has to be built in sequence, and disruptions of one construction trade, effect all those later in the sequence, and quickly erode profits,
or balloon the cost to taxpayers. The dance is repeated
floor by floor by floor, as the tower grows, and not amid hearts and unicorns.

Mr Trump has built a few, while Mrs Clinton and
her bosses built only a giant vacuum, which terrorists rushed in to fill, following the officially printed schedules of retreat.

Is designing a synthesizer a sequential process too?
Are there wipeboards in conference rooms, with team meetings,
or is it more IDE based on monitor screens, with individuals passing along their part of the work to those next in the process?
At what point of the instrument design does sound designing influence further instrument design?
That might make another good documentary, instrument design
from the first qwerty keypress, to the first midi keypress,
and everything in between.
Cheers
