Okay guys, after weeks of anxieties that I could not get 2.8 to load or function, this week, I bought Cubase Artist 8.5 update. After a lot of torture, I got all my VSTs working but didn't even try with Synthmaster due to problems with it in Cubase 3 and Artist 7. Just now, I found every single file I could all over my PC to do with Synthmaster and deleted them all, then did a fresh download of the full 2.8.4 and situated the 32 and 64 bit versions in their proper VST folders, loaded Cubase until the SM window arose asking me for my emails and serial number, filled them in and bingo, Huston, we have no problem! It's now happily sitting on my monitor waiting for all the new functions to be discovered. Seeing as I have used it almost as my main synth the last few months, I have tons of files that would not function until I got SM working again. Hard to express in words how happy I am to have this all solved. Thanks so much Bulent and all the team!
