I know I had done that in T 6 without problems, but seems I have forgotten something important or it just work not in the same way in T 7.

I want to create different virtual midi inputs for outside midi software (Sundog, Rapid Composer) to be rendered in T 7.

The midi input over loop midi works in general:
virtual_midi_input1.jpg
you can see the note coming in, if I choose as input I can hear it.

Now I create a new virtual midi input, select loop midi as input:
virtual_midi_input2.jpg
But nothing, no input notes to be seen on the keyboard here, nothing to see or here if I choose this virutal midi input on the track. Any ideas, I am sure I miss something obvious but I have done that a lot of times before in T 6 and it works without problems. help really appreciated :(

EDIT: seems I could solve it, leave it in here in case someone else might have theses problems. I seems you have to hit the "Refresh midi device" button a lot of times, sometime at least it will work....seems a little bit like gambling cause I know I have hit it before, anyway, it works :D
