If it's straightforward to build (eg in xcode), I can probably make an osx version if necessary.

UPDATE: built just fine with the latest code, some strange behavior, though (excessive CPU, auto-modulating the oscillator somehow). I'm surely doing something wrong. :)

This is a pretty cool sounding synth. I'm excited about this one.

I'm using Ableton Live on OS X.

Hmmmm....seems like it's a dream-come-true for the dubsteppers!
...now, how to become one... :ud:

Step 1: Wanting to become one
Step 2: Deep meditation to disassociate with the gentle self to find the inner deaf-defying audiopath (...just try to understand the word!)
Step 3: Keenly observe potential health hazards for self and others after successful completion of step 2
Step 4: Learn to love the sound of a plastic chainsaw (significantly easier after successful completion of step 2)
Step 5: rinse and repeat (let ears bleed, if need be!)

Ah well, we shall see... :|

Taron. Just do your thing. It's beautiful.

I'm not doing dubstep on this this one. I don't know what it'll be...

Post

I seriously want to make dubstep.
Would be very educational for me. No idea how to start though.

Thanks, Jas! I kind of want to try something- as usual(?!). I really want to use this thing the way it's "grown" somehow. I hardly ever stray too far from my comfort zone, but I want to conquer certain elements from way out there, see if I can bring them in. I just don't think I can go for the arbitrary muuoohhaaWAPWAPWAP parts for no reason, as they usual come, haha, because I really want the music to be for music more than for shock value, you know, but there is something that can actually mean something, I can feel it. <sigh> ...again: we shall see!

But, again, thank you, really! You're (in my ears) the unrivaled master of mixing and a beautiful sound designer and musician. I'd love to hear you go for something that really means something to you, not to impress, but to reveal yourself, because inside this shell of glory must be radiant gold! :hyper: (...I'm not implying that you weren't doing that before, because I can hear it, yet, there's always this kind of layer of varnish on top that feels like a tiny bit of hiding to me. I can't tell if that's true, only you can. Even if you were putting yourself out there completely already, it's fantastic and I can't wait to hear more of it!) :phones:

I'm afraid, I'm pretty much just riding my peaks and valleys and you get it all, every time! :scared:

I've posted some "issue's" on the github page.
I think it would be a good idea (IMHO) if people run into something to post it there : https://github.com/paynebc/tunefish/issues

The audio is very low. I'll try to find a better one. Amateurs.

I been going thru the rules of OSC but I can't find the rule about maximum length of a track. For some reason I thought it was 3 minutes maximum but I guess that's wrong. So is there any maximum length?

Cheers!

Unfortunately there isn't... but after you've had your voting experience, you should consider it keep it below 10 minutes, please! :dog:

 hahaha...getting tired there Taron? Of course I will keep it small always but I struggled to fit it in under 3 minutes. A normal track is maybe 3.30 to 4.00 minutes. Thanks for sharing the info

No problem, my pleasure! (had you asked, whether 5min was the limit, I would've said yes...ice-cold)
