The title tells it all: what's the difference between MMultibandWaveShaper and MMultibandWaveFolder? I couldn't find videos explaining that or any sound demos...

Waveshaper gives direct access to the waveshaping curve, wavefolder does not. Waveshaper works on each sample point instantaneously according to the waveshaping curve you made, wavefolder has some 'inertia' and you never get to see the curve, you control only select set of parameters that represent a certain character (wavefolder in general has something fancy happening inside).
Wavefolder will be easier to use and might give you a better result in general.
You can simply install the demos and check. The non-multiband versions of MMultibandWaveshaper and MMultibandWavefolder is part of the free bundle, so you could try those as well before you make your choice.

This, it has more of a physical, modelling type of distortion. Dare I say it sounds more analog 8)
