defo a nice update.now i just need more colour options:)for channels and audio clips

Post

I love the new update
If it is possible can you add a option to see 2 plug-ins property panels side by side when the property and transport panel is collapsed.
An this would even make it more efficient to use the Tracktion native plugins.
(Example) Compressor and level meter or volume and pan to watch and control levels with ease.

An can you also please add a edit end marker that will stop at the end of the edit when you don't have loop selected

I hope you all at TSC consider these thought.

Thax again for another great update. :tu:

Thanks for fixing the LFO bug. That gets my upgrade.

T7 is still buggy with some plugins :
TyrellN6 and microtonic are jerky and slow responsive UI, bugs reported for ages now, even with earlier Tracktion versions.
I'm afraid my hope to see this plugins working has vanished.

Add a fatal crash with NI Jupiter 1 mn after I started T7. OSX was frozen for several mn, I thought I had to reboot the mac.
Also noted hanging notes when sequencer is stopped, had to unload the plugin.
Noted an improvment with tall bassline UI responsiveness.

All those plugins work fine within other DAWs.

Don't know if this lazzy UI only happens on OSX, how is it on your mac ?

Hi !

I'm on MacBook Pro 15" - i7 - 8 Go Ram - OSX El Capitan

Because of your comments, I've specially tested today the synth TyrellN6 on my config (T7.1.16).
This Plugin is Ok here, as all my other plugs... (no GUI pb, no sound pb...)...
I have TyrellN6 since a lot of time and I never had problems with this synth in the different versions of Tracktion as well in Logic Pro X.
Note that all my plugIns are AU. No VST or VST3 on my machine...

I have'nt tested the other PlugIns you describe in your comment because I don't know/own them.
Really sorry you have these problems on your machine... but I'm not sure it is a Tracktion bug...

My 2 cents...

Best regards,
Lutin mutin.

OK thanks for the feedback, perhaps my late 2007 imac is getting too old but I have faced no issue with Tyrell with Logic, reaper, live, studio one...
When I say Tyrell is jerky, that's when I move the knobs or sliders in play mode.

my MacBook Pro is a mid-2012...
For GUI moving slow, a software support guy says to me to uncheck the "automatic GUI permutation manager", in the Preference System / energy saving window, in top left corner.
On my machine, all the graphics were slow (bad gestion of the intel chip and/or the graphic card by the OS X). Since I've unchecked the "automatic GUI permutation manager", all GUIs are fluid now (my machine is always using the graphic card only).
I don't know if this may help you, but in case of...

Good luck !

Best regards,
Lutin mutin.

Post

to lutin,

No automatic GUI permutation option on imac perhaps only on laptop.
Thanks anyway.

great update so far...

Btw one funny feature / bug:
if you create new automation track for some parameter
and then you assign lfo to this parameter
the automation track will draw what lfo does
but it get weirds once you point on it by mouse and it is clearly a bug
