Getting clean envelopes (no clicks)

Hi!
I'm making my 808 kicks/bass by my own using just pure sine and distortion. The main problem are the clicks at the beginning. The only way I've found to delete them is low pass filter after the synth. Do you have any other methods?

Next question is why Hive with OSC set to reset sounds so clean and Diva not (I'm using ADS because with sustain set to zero they works like one shot envelopes, OSC reset)? Bazille is even more terrible at this area than Diva. I could use Hive for my 808s but i don't like the shape of its envelopes, so when you come up with some ideas I would be thankful.

First, as Chapelle mentionned, tweak the attack time of your enveloppes. Even a small nudge can make a huge difference.

Second, check that you have asked the phase of the oscs to reset every time a note is trigged.

Third, give a second look at Bazille (and ACE too if you own it). Bazille offers many possibilities to generate enveloppes, other than the 4 enveloppes (LFO, etc...). Besides, you can also self-modulate an enveloppe to modify its shape.

Hope that helps.

Thanks guys for your replies. I have tried backing off attack in Diva, but when it loose it's clicky nature it also has some little fade in which I don't like for 808s. I will try diffrent phase starting point, will post if it will help. Bazille will be crazy synth for 808s (because of envelopes fall/rise knob, it works perfect for shaping the distortion) and drums, but it doesn't have one shot envelopes and I'm working only with DAWs sequencer.

URS why you wouldn't implement this funcionality for Bazille?!?!?!?!?!

Edit:
I've tried diffrent phase settings in Diva, but it doesn't help. I checked Hive manual for envelopes tricks and modulating decay by same envelope works same as fall/rise knob in Bazille. Perfect!!

In Bazille you can use the Modmapper as an envelope also... you can draw exactly the shape you want. Use the ramp to control how fast the modmapper is scanned.

You enabled reset phase in Diva?

In Hive, when you have set oscillator phase to 'reset', you can go to the modulation matrix, choose 'constant' as modulation source and 'oscillator phase' as the target to adjust the starting phase of the osc. This can also affect the amount of clicking that you hear during the attack stage. You might have to experiment a bit to find the best (least clicking) starting phase.

What do you mean by single shot enveloppes? Enveloppes are single shot by definition. Actually, what is fancy is to have loopable enveloppes, i.e. not single shot. I have used many times Bazille to generate 808-like kicks and it works very well. Use Env1 (by default set to control the VCA) to also control the cutoff of a resonating filter and bang. You could also use other enveloppes to mimick lesser known aspects of the 808 kick, such as the slight pitch bend up as the kick closes.

by one shot he means the envelope will complete even though the midi note is not held
