I'm not sure if this is the right forum but.....

If I play daHornet in SX2.2 via external keyboard (thru midi yoke) I get wild cpu spikes and crackling.

If I minimise the SX window and play they disappear.

Seems like a GUI problem ?

why do your midi Yoke driver to play with an external keyboard?

got different result minimizing only daHornet or whole Cubase?

Post

I have 2 keyboards, a Kenton plugstation and Control Freak so midi yoke is very useful for combining these as a single midi "node" (for software that only allows a single midi input at one time).

As I recall, minimising daHornet makes little difference. Only minimising SX2 gets rid of the glitches.

I'll try it in FLS to see if it does this also.

Just tested again.

SX2:

-crackles if daHornet visible
-much reduced (but still occasional) if daHornet window closed
-disappear completely if SX2 minimised

FLS:

- crackles if daHornet visible
- disappear completely if daHornet window closed

Seems to be a GUI issue ?

No - I'll try that as well.

Yep - that fixed it !

Only glitches in SX or FLS with the keyboard visible.

Can you explain luigi ?

the animation of the small yellow keyboard is not optimized to work with some graphic intensive Hosts like SX 2 and FL Studio,

but you got the button to turn it off, <wink>
