y'know for as much as I keep saying I love this synth... I've never used it in a track either haha

I just realized that now that you said this...
I got all the TAL stuff and was really impressed by it all, especially Noisemaker, and I played around with it a bunch and thought it was awesome...
but with all the free synths I'm always downloading even though I should know better, I never properly used it til now.

used BassLine in a couple tracks though

Well, this confirms it. I've had numerous people tell me that this was my best entry. Some called it epic. And yet, not counting my own vote, I got 7 1s.

7

And 30 2s.

Really?

Those are the 37 people who hate my guts, which is why I'm done with these.

Adios amigos.

Congrats on the winners. It was fun to attend this competition.

Sooooo....people can't have musical preferences??

Also keep in mind, in the end, this challenge has prizes for winners. There are going to be votes affected by those who want to win, say, like, $200? :hihi:

Congrats to the winners and the well deserved number one!
Ask not what your DAW can do for you, but what you can do with your DAW

People can have all the freaking musical preferences they want.

They can just have them without me.

yeah votes are 80% musical preferences, no hate nor love.
At least that's how I vote.
BTW some of those I gave high rates got very low positions, below 40.
Congrats everybody.

These were my top 5 picks as posted on July 1 and where they ended up.

1 ThePresent - Rehearsing In Pasadena - Finished 5th
2 Meakaale - Mower Shreds - Finished 3rd
3 rghvdberg - Today Is Not The Day - Finished 18th
4 Taron - TALon Becomings - Finished 4th
5 Richard Semper - Clear Vinyl Promo - Finished 34th

Also, I thought Z's track slightly edged out Jasinkski's and picked his to finish higher, going against the trend even though Jas wins almost all of these and son of a gun, that's how it ended up with Z 1 and Jas 2.

Maybe I should just give up making music and become a music critique.

I'd probably be a lot better at it.

18th, that's much better than I thought I would be.

Thanks!

I am so happy I reached number 6, all though it is just outside of any reward :D This is my second OSC and the previous one I ended up number 17 :) ..so a very big thanks to everyone for making my day.

Wags I'm gonna be honest with you.
I know you can handle this.

You're music is fine. Patches are fine.
Mixing, and what bugs me even more, timing needs to be improved. Just quantize the whole damn thing!

Believe it or not, that WAS quantized. LMAO.

This is something I did that was essentially step entered. Believe me, I know how to quantize a track.

Sorry mate, but have to agree about the timing. It was quantized, but the timing is just off (imho). Also, for the type of music it lacks sub (imho). The mixing was moderate for my taste.
