We just set up a slack room, just send me your email if you want to be added (is there an easier way to do this? like you can request access through Slack somehow?)

If you give us the slack Team Domain (team-name.slack.com) we can sign in, I think.

Ah, looks like we will have to give you our e-mail address first. I'll PM you.

In MOD MATRIX choose, for instance, LFO1 and Volume. Adjust waveform, Rate and Depth of LFO1 to your taste :)
wouldn't that make a tremolo ?
You could also target Frequency, then maybe use automation to change the amount? Would be super useful to have a mod wheel source in the modulation section to affect the levels or something...
that Frequency knob does something weird on my pc
I'll have to look into that
found it:
In the Mod Matrix : LFO1 to Frequency
leave depth at 50, otherwise to basic pitch of the note changes ...

Set LFO as desired
For me Rate 86 and depth maximum to 20 gives a nice vibrato

Does the LFO sync work in the latest versions? I upgraded to the last OSX update and it's still not feeling right. Also seems to cycle inconsistently --ie.e does not reset to start of the waveform for each key press.

Thanks.

I think it's only tempo sync

Okay I have fed my crash symbol some steroids  ... re-rendered and uploaded a new version. Hope y'all like it. The reference to Ray Charles is from his early stride days - we are going way back in time there.

Please enjoy - this "oldtimer" has tried to make you an earworm. :hihi:

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure it doesn't sync to anything.
That is, when I press the button:
- it does not sync (start the cycle) at the beginning of a note (i.e. no "retrigger")
- it does not sync to the host tempo (I just tried varying my tempo wildly between 50 and 150 bpm, and it seemed to have zero effect on the LFO... with or without having "synchronized" enabled)

Maybe it's just me though... :?

Besides: Does anybody know what metric the LFO rate represents? Maybe 1 unit = 0.1 Hertz? Maybe even slower?

@Payne, if you're reading this: I can make another video illustrating my observations above, if it helps...
In any case: Any comments or insight from you are of course appreciated.
My Environment: Windows 64bit, Cubase 8.5

Hmm, too true. Just tried this out and you're right, doesn't seem to do much, inconsistent LFO start point when I start playback, so no tempo sync, and no note-on restart. BUT, you can set the speed to 0 and get a constant value!! But that constant value is a random value from the waveform, wherever it stopped. heh. I assume it will be reset when the project is re-loaded. D'oh!

Oh, and I'm assuming you don't use Bitwig, but you can work around these types of problems with Bitwig's super handy automation tools: LFO MOD, Note MOD. ;)

For me there appears to be no difference in performance with the sync button on or off. I'm using Logic Pro X.
