Hello,
Im a long time T3 user on a older dedicated XP machine. I seen that T5 is now free and il would like to try it. Can i have both version installed in different folder at the same time?
I wanna keep T3 because im a big fan of Mackie plugins. I dont think they come with T5.

Do be careful, though... You may accidentally open a T3 project in T5 and save it; and I'm not sure T3 will then be able to open/work on that same project. I've done this (fortunately not on anything critical), although possibly it was T6 not backward compatible with T5. You can get at the waveforms and MIDI and export them, but it's a bit of a pain.
PS - You can either USE or copy the plugins from T3 to another folder; then scan that folder in T5 to get all your favorite plugins in T5. They all seem to work; although may not be "optimized" for the newer platform.

I am aware of this thats why I state in the video to make a copy of the edit in T2 or T3 and name it T5,6, or 7 so you won't get confusedPeter Widdicombe wrote:Do be careful, though...
