I find that I have some questions about tempo control in Mulab. I know that I can use the tempo slider to record tempo changes, but it doesn't seem to be possible to show and edit tempo changes graphically the way that we can see changes to MIDI controllers. Is that the case, or am I missing something?
And I'm guessing that Mulab also doesn't have anything like a tempo randomization function as of yet... is that correct?

I get the feeling the tempo automation is still a bit "young" -- it's got the event list editor but having this visible more graphically would be nice, agreed. I'd like to have the same control over "swing", too.
Given that this means there's what looks like a sequencer "upstream" (architecturally) of the tempo to "play" the existing list, then having automation/modulation upstream of tempo should also be feasible -- but at the moment, the Modular view doesn't show this, so - again - I think the architecture side isn't entirely there. There was a big step up in sequencing flexibility already made with MuLab and MuX 7, so I'm hoping something like this will be possible. (Of course, it's got to work for MuLab and not break MuX inside a "foreign" host.)

Good points, pljones. Well, hopefully some of this kind of thing will find its way into Mulab 8 - especially the part about being able to control tempo through a graphical interface.
