Currently the worst spamming i see here are your ongoing attempts of trolling and/or posting your rants in this thread (since some months now...).
If you do not like Tone2 and/or Icarus you could simply ignore this thread but this does not seem to be possible for you.

Opposing to what i read from your posts here in the last months I am actually very much interested in the synth (and also others from Tone2) and was involved with both testing (also during the closed beta) and sound design for it so why should i not post here?

I just got the idea that it almost looks to me that with your constant attacks to Tone2 and to my person you took the place of the banned KVR member Kriminal. I also noticed you opened your account in November last year, just AFTER Kriminal seemed to be permanently banned...

Yes. And his presets rule indeed, in every synth which has his presets, those really stand out. Really talented guy.

Not that serious, many other great programs out there.

issue is not with tone 2, I rather like Marcus. issue is with the pricing scheme and blanket tax.

Set a price, let conversions equalize, don't tax when customer is not required to be.

I have no idea tbh. There was a big discussion about this, noone bothered to ask. I never minded, because i'm in the EU, so i have to pay VAT anyway. Maybe it's simply a mistake on their side. Maybe it's a mistake on the paying system's side. Seems weird though. Someone should really ask them. I'm actually surprised noone ever did. I mean, it can't be that they don't have any oversea customers.

But I can guess why.
But (again) he was always a serious contributor in many ways, always helpful in his areas, and did free stuff, and was practically a founder member.
And a reasonable musician to boot.

They emailed me back with an upgrade price of GBP 109.56 which isn't too bad. I wonder when AudioDeluxe will have it on offer.

Best Service is also a distributor of Tone2 products but i have not seen Icarus added at their shop yet (while the other Tone2 priodutcs could be found there). Maybe this will follow soon.

Opposing the the official Tone2 shop they also seem to offer certain sales and/or special offers from time to time while i do not expect one for Icarus soon.

FWIW concerning Best Service as i already had mentioend here back at that time at the Musikmesse in April 2016 a Beta of Icarus was shown at one of the computers at their booth. I had seen it myself there.


UPDATE:
I also found Icarus at JRR Shop but currently still at a "pre-order" price similar to the official Tone2 shop. Possible that this will change soon. Usually JRR Shop has a lot of good offers compared to the orignal prices (and so far he does not seem to take extra VAT from EU customers...).
