Why is the (spectral freeze) sound removed when pressing the stop button in my DAW?

Your host is probably reseting the plugin, nothing to do about it I'm afraid.

This doesn't happen in Logic X, when hitting stop, the spectrally frozen sounds goes on forever.

It does, but LFO phases are not related to the spectral freezing, so I don't understand the question.Jedinhopy wrote:Logic X does not reset phase of meldaproduction LFOs at stopping and starting the song and playing the song from the beginning?Sampleconstruct wrote:This doesn't happen in Logic X, when hitting stop, the spectrally frozen sounds goes on forever.

Out of curiosity: What are you guys talking about? What is spectral freezing? I know "frozen" sounds only, when the MIDI-Note-Off-Command somehow got lost. And how would you use this sound, when the DAW has to be stooped?

vegaron: Check the MTransformer Freeze active preset. You'd likely automate the button (or attach it to MIDI).
Jedinhopy: The hosts have a way to literally reset the plugin (like panic button on synthesizers for example). They use it before rendering to have the plugin clean its state. But some of them do that on every playback change (e.g. Reaper), but it usually can be disabled (like one of the million Reaper settings
