Does anyone know where I can find more Presswork and Satin presets? Particularly looking for ones geared to guitar.
Thanks for any help or suggestions

some satin presets can be found here: http://www.u-he.com/PatchLib/satin.html
There seem to be none for presswerk sadly.

I found these... somewhere. I can't remember but the good man 3ee put them up for free download and I saved them because Presswerk is almost certainly going to be the next plug-in I buy.
edit: they're presswerk presets of course
second edit: Removed link @ attached to post. I forgot you could do that here. Nice.

Here is one (Presswerk) I often use for drums:

That one was actually for drums, I just corrected it. I have a question. I used to use Mac OSX10.6.8. Then I updated to Mac OSX10.9.5. One advantage: I used to often have my u-he plug-ins freeze up on the gui. That has yet to happen since I updated about 2 months ago. But now, when I go to check out my patches on u-he plug-ins (and probably other brands) on Library>Audio>Presets>u-he>whatever plugin (various synths & Presswerk) I only see a few user presets and that's it! I must have hundreds of Zebra/ZebraHZ presets, yet I can only find a few of the most recent ones that I got off the internet on Finder. Yet the presets are still available in the plugin to use. I was going to share a Presswerk custom preset for vocals (I have used it recently & several times over months) and I can't find it in Finder.

Thanks for the kind words RazzCE ... however, final versions of all my Presswerk patches are already included with the plugin... so no need to look elsewhere atm...

Remember that you have two preset folders: One of these was hidden in later versions of OSX - I guess 10.9.5 is one of them. The best way to find hidden presets is to use the "reveal in Finder" function (all u-he plugin browsers have that feature - see user guide). However, it might be a good idea to create a link on the desktop to any hidden folder you need regularly.aaron aardvark wrote:That one was actually for drums, I just corrected it. I have a question. Howard,
Thank you for answering my question! I have a vague memory of that now that you mention it. I will check it out soon.

Lazylefteye,
You are welcome! If anyone improves it, I would be interested in trying it out.

Here is that Presswerk patch for vocals (I posted it months ago in another thread) that I was talking about:

Lazylefteye,
You are welcome! It is not unusual where I have electric bass in a song of mine. I pretty much always use a Line 6 Bass PodXT, which I put on one track, and the clean bass track on a separate track. The two playing at the same time usually sounds better than either one by itself. If any one wants my Presswerk settings for the Bass PodXT tracks, just let me know. The Bass PodXT has its own compressor, but I often decided to add more later.
