Arturia Keylabs 49 Sequencer?

I've always wanted to use the 4x4 pads on the Arturia Keylabs 49 as a sequencer since I bought it, but I've looked all over and there isn't a script for it, and as I don't know JavaScript I'm a bit shit outa luck.

But I was just wondering, that as the Arturia Beatports already have scripts for them, if I'd be able to rip the code for drum/synth sequencing from them and botch said to work with the Keylabs? The reasoning being they're both made my Arturia and might be similar enough where you'd only have to change a few things to get it to work.

It's just an idea, because the only real option to get this done is to learn JavaScript and code it myself, and if I can skirt around that then everyone comes out a winner!

Would not work that way IMO.
The Beatsteps have internal sequencers in the hardware, the Keylabs don't, so the code of the script is not implementing the sequencer, just triggering it.
And if you don't know JS, "ripping out code" and plugging it back into another script may not be that easy, since usually each part of a script depends on other areas.
So there is no way around learning JS I'm afraid ;-)

Cheers,

Tom
