Hi,

I want to changes the style for alle the plugins but have som troubles doing so. Any help would be appreciated :)

What i have tried:

Using the "Gui & Style --> Style Wizard", selecting "futuristic" theme. Then using "Gui & Style --> Style" to change the background color to a light grey. Then going into the "Gui & Style --> Style Wizard" to enforce the color change to all plugins - But even though the color is different for this specific plugin, the new background color isn't (as i expected) set for any other plugins.

So the question is: How do i change the background color for all plugins to any specific color?

Best Regards,
Nicolai Bob

You can't. It has to be done for each plugin.

Oh yes, you can ;)

When you use the Style Wizard to set the default, the colour combinations available are taken from the colour presets file for the selected Style. Here is the Colour Presets window for Futuristic (here) and the palettes shown in the Style Wizard. The FIRST 8 palettes in the Presets window are used (there are also the ones used for the different categories of plug-ins).

Having run the Style Wizard, any changes made to the 5 colours for that Style apply only to that plug-in.

So, to get the new background colour in all the plug-ins, what you can do is:
(a) load each of those 8 (or 9) preset palettes,
(b) change the colour in the Colour Setting panel (using the Copy and Paste button is the 'Select a colour' window to use the same colour for each)
(c) 'Replace' each preset.

A quicker way, once you understand what's going on, is:
(a) 'Export' the presets,
(b) replace the colour definition, using a text editor (even Notepad),
(c) save the file and 'Import' it back in.

Then those palettes will be shown in the Style Wizard and will be used when a plug-in uses the Default Style (or you select the default).

Hi,

Thanks DarkStar. That pointed me in the right direction. But for some reason, i've found that the Style Wizard, doesn't change all of my Meldaplugin's layout. Only some. I cant see why some is changed, and others are not. I guess theres only the hard way left? Changing all manual.

But, hey.... at least i can now select my own color scheme preset in the Style Wizard. :)

The Style Wizard style is used only for those plug-ins which are set to use the Default Style, not any plug-ins where you have changed the style. Click "Default Style" for those that did not change.

Is there a fast way, setting all plugins to "default style"?

For some reason it wont quite come to the results i expects. i.e.. When press CMD when setting default style, it sets MAutoPitch to a red theme. Then i change the theme in MAGC with the Style Wizard, to i.e. a Futuristic green theme. But then MAutoPitch is still the same red theme.

If i try another, i.e. momentum theme, it changes - but not with the Futuristic theme... Am i the only one experiencing this? Some sort of inconsistency in themes across plugins.

BTW. I am on lates MTotalbundle.

Did it ask you "if you really want to do that"? If not, then you didn't press the right key :).

See this video https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/966 ... _style.mp4 where i change Default Style for all (holding down CMD), and then as you can see, there is different styles for at least three other plugins - even if i try the Style Wizard.

But this is correct, you set default style, and colors are predefined - basically the plugins are colorized based on the type - equalizers are always green, dynamics blue etc.
