What to use for 24 -> 16 dithering?

yes, cbit, don't worry about dithering. it only needs to be added when converting those files to 16 bit.

I prefer Ozone3 for dithering. it's the best sounding dithering noise I have yet heard... I am a perfectionist and for most music the difference between different dither noises is hard to detect.

You know, I though the radio button on the output settings screen to mean dithering at the physical output, similar to how hardware effect units dither their internal processing down to 16bit at their output.

Of course this could be totally off base here, in which case this radio button should be turned off in all cases except for final 16bit export.

Any other VST dithering algorithms out there other than mda's?
