How do you get the lfo to start modulating after a while after playing a sample? I tried different settings with no luck.
What settings should I use to achieve that result? Thanks.

Which synth/effect are you talking about?

Turn the 'start modulating after a while' control.

Once we know what plugin you're talking about, though, there might be more specific advice.

You would have to use an envelope with some attack on the lfo depth in the mod section,

If you are using the lfo in the matrix, you can also use the 'via' option.

Got it! This is what I was doing. What is the purpose of mod 1 and 2?

By default, mod 1 is for the cutoff modulation on filter 1 & mod 2 the same for filter 2,but they can be used to modulate anything via the mod matrix

Is this possible? After the sound fades into a 1/4 note lfo can it finish with a 1/32 note effect?

Post

Sounds more like automation, you would do in your DAW.

The rate knob under LFO section can multiply the rate of the LFO,if you turn it up to 2 you'll get 16ths,turn it up to 3 & you'll get 32nds when the sync is set to ¼

Thanks.

Had a go at it,

If you set the the depth to 60 in the mod matrix for the LFO rate, you'll get your 1/32.Then just fade in it like you did before with the envelopes

Try the manual: Click on the u-he badge (top right of the Hive window) and select "user guide" from the menu, go into the Hive folder and open "Hive user guide.pdf".
