Now imagine placing Adaptiverb next to Wormhole....

Sounds awesome....but it has some very very large latency whatever i set in Logic Pro.
Is it supposed to introduce such a large latency? Would be only usable for pads/soundscapes then for me.
Don´t have that problem with any other FX.

totally expected. i think it's just fun to talk about. there's a lot to explore w/altiverb as is and obviously you've got ahold of something interesting to build on and evolve.zynaptiq wrote:We'll have a look at thatdayjob wrote: some kind of alt mode in Adaptiverb would be genius.. embracing the noise/dirt/bent nature of whatever comes out of it.![]()
But just to be clear on timing/expectations – significant new algorithm features are things we typically only do on full-version number updates, or maybe at x.5 – as they typically involve UI changes, research, testing...and the lengthy process of passing my super picky flavor-QA![]()
Cheers,

It's been mentioned in this thread, you can bypass latency compensation inside the plugin, but the tails will still sound late if you do, but for tracking it's very helpful.Cinebient wrote:Sounds awesome....but it has some very very large latency whatever i set in Logic Pro.

I have the feeling that Adaptiverb will become a reference reverb for ambient, drone and soundscape artists/musicians. Still demoing and there absolutely NOTHING like it. It makes all my other reverbs sound boring and lame now
Amazing job Zynaptiq crew, wow.

I am unsure. it has that characteristic "spectral" sound a la other Zynaptiq processors, Kaleidoscope, et al. It sounds good but it has a character that can be over-used easily (Simon!)
I like it. I may buy it. I am still exploring its diversity and character to determine if its something can be used in general or if it's sound is too specific. That's just me though.

^ I think he's saying you have character that can be over-used easily or something...

I rarely comment or contribute on KVR but I must say this reverb is killer. Just using it as a stand alone reverb I find it pretty amazing.

zynaptiq, while this thread is still kicking, do you have any plans of bringing OrangeVocoder back to the PC?
That was my favourite vocoder ever, and I'd love what you guys would do with it right now, I'm certain it'd be gloriously sweet!

Agreed. Orange is a great vocoder and I regret selling my license. It just needed some more modern features like better modulation options, band quantity selection, band shifting, etc. Even today the sound quality is still better than Razor, Lector, Xils 5000, and even Virta. Mvocoder is a close second, with the only downside being that it's unbearably ugly.
However, Morph 2 can do some really damn good-sounding vocoder fx too.
Sorry about the OT.

- did you notice how it behaves, when you're performing pitch bend effects ?
