Does anyone knows how much time does it takes NI to answer a license transfer request? Almost two weeks and no response.

Got todays Sample Logic deal, bought Bohemian for $299 and got Gamelan worth $349 for free. First impression is very good, high quality instruments!

Finally bit the bullet on the AIEP 3 Complete upgrade from pluginboutique.com. I'd pretty much decided to skip the offer as I already had hybrid 3 that came bundled with an akai apc mini, and bought xpand!2 for a quid from PIB earlier recently, but after demo'ing loom and vacuum pro they seemed worth the cost of the bundle, so what the hell.

I've not downloaded all the big filesize stuff yet (strike/structure/transfuser) as my internet connection isn't the best - but the big surprise for me in this lot was the AIR Creative FX Collection PLUS, which I'd pretty much overlooked.

There are some really nice little plugins in that - the new aircompressor in particular is hitting the spot for me:

AIR Chorus:
Lets you apply a short modulated delay to give depth and space to an audio signal.

AIR Ensemble:
Lets you apply fluid, shimmering modulation effects to the audio signal.

AIR Flanger:
Lets you apply a short modulating delay to the audio signal.

AIR Multi-Chorus:
Plug-in that lets you apply a thick, complex Chorus effect to an audio signal.

AIR Phaser:
Applies a phaser to an audio signal for that wonderful"wooshy," "squishy" sound.

AIR Reverb:

Use the Frequency Shifter plug-in to shift the audio signal's individual frequencies, creating a unique effect.

AIR StereoWidth:
Plug-in that you can use to create a wider stereo presence.

AIR Distortion:
Instantly adds color to your audio signal with various types and varying amounts of distortion.

AIR Fuzz-Wah:
Lets you add color to an audio signal with various types and varying amounts of transistor-like distortion.

AIR Pumper:

Spectral analyzes an incoming signal (its frequencies, level, MIDI notes, and other information) and determines which frequencies will and will not be part of the resynthesized output signal. Compressor changes the dynamic range of a signal by automatically reducing its gain if it exceeds a certain level (the threshold).

Maximizer is a limiter optimized for professional mastering.

AIRParametricEQ:
Four-band parametric equalizer with four independent EQ ranges.

AIRSaturationFilter:
Saturation Filter applies a filter to an incoming audio signal and then applies a selectable type of distortion,reduction, etc to that filtered signal.

Anybody get the Diginoiz 'All In One – High Heel Vocals'? Terrible quality imho. Large plosives and loud mouth noises. Sounds like someone sitting at a computer, trying not to make too much noise in case it disturbs the neighbours. In fact, it sounds just like me trying to record with a microphone in a bedroom, except she has a voice. If I'd paid full price for this I'd be raging. For just less than a tenner, I might be able to chop out some little gems, or be otherwise inspired. If anyone is familiar with some of the earlier Zero-G samples libraries featuring home recording quality, of people that can't sing, I'd say this is in the same ballpark. Kind of crap but ok for the sale price. My 2c.

Sounds bad in 16bit. It still sounds bad in 24bit.

Sample Logic definitely makes very high quality instruments. Their normal prices are too high in my opinion, but they have enough sales of various types to enable us mere mortals willing to wait to buy.

I went for today's deal on Cinematic Guitars Organic Atmospheres and Xosphere for $250. I can't download until late this evening until I am home, though. It is a long day for me
