Exporting a single clip MIDI data ?

Hello,

Is it possible to export a single clip from the Clip Launcher that contains MIDI data ? The File -> Export MIDI option seems to export a lot more. or at least not a specific clip.

Not sure if I get it. For instance, a clip contains recorded MIDI data and the track has a synth. The 'File -> Export MIDI' would be used to, well, export MIDI data of that clip out of Bitwig. Just as 'File -> Export Audio' is for exporting any number of tracks. Once exported, the MIDI data can then by imported in, say, Mixbus 32C, into a track with the same synth.

There appear to be a number of glaring omissions (as of 2024) in Bitwig. This, the inability to export midi from a single clip is one of them. The idea that you should export the clip from one project, load into another empty project, and then export the midi of that entire project, is silly.

I hate this and other things BitWig 'clearly' does on purpose.

Another reason why I have slowly been distancing myself from BitWig.

I did not upgrade to 6, as well.

I am kind of fed-up, although BitWig is a very good DAW, I am leaning on others now.
