Well, here's the thing, the compression tutorial is about using a precise digital compressor. The analog things never follow the actual units, behaviour etc. So one would use them in a more "by listening" way. In theory they should work the same way, but I don't think it would be very effective. They are generally more like for controlling the character of the sound. If you are looking for some limiter, I'd recommend staying with MDynamicsLimiter, or you can use MA2A or M1 in MTurboComp.

Ok but not sure I fully understand. Isn't MTurboComp still a precise digital compressor when you go into edit mode? The settings there seem to be pretty precise and look like the other compressors. As you say in the manual:MeldaProduction wrote:Thank you!

"MTurboComp is an extremely powerful dynamics processor. It has been designed to be so versatile, so that it can simulate any compressor out there"
Shouldn't it then be able to do what MDynamics and your other compressors do?
Is it simulating analog within the code or is the analog character made in the preset design?

Aaaah, well, if you want to mess with the edit mode, sure
. I thought you are into the simple edit screen, which is pretty much why this has been created.

Like I´ve read and understand there is no complex mimic of the hardware in the way of analog cahracter (saturation). It´s the same saturation all the time. Please correct, if that´s not right. But it sounds great to my ears.

Yep it's the same thing every time, but a little differently configured. The difference between most saturations are negligible, so I like to stick with the one we have, which sounds great.
