Voted. Been listening to the tracks as they came in.

Btw do both ssj71 and me get to vote?

Post

Question would rather be: Will both of you have to vote?!

No, you vote as a team (you vote as a single person, only one of you needs to vote)

High Quality stuff is up here: https://archive.org/details/OSC90Helm

I'm really astonished by the amount and quality of songs in this round... Especially considering the fact that most of you had to suffer from frequent crashes etc.
So... congrats to all who submitted - no matter what the voting may bring, you're all winners! :-)

I myself did NOT submit anything... again... <sigh> Although in the beginning I was mildly optimistic that I might overcome my usual slowness and procrastination, in the end it didn't matter because the frequent crashes made continued working on a song impossible. (After having more than 5-6 tracks or so, Helm kept crashing my Cubase... most of the times directly inside a session, sometimes "only" when loading the song the next time.
The first few times this happened I managed to recover the work by importing the tracks from the "corrupt" file into a new/blank one... but in the end even that didn't help anymore. Particularly annoying: Those crashes also seemed to drag the whole audio driver to the grave as well - resulting in a stuck Cubase "zombie process" that couldn't be killed - not even with Administrator rights. I actually had to wait about 5 mins. or so for the system to recover and clean up that process - or reboot...)

Lastly, let's hope that Matt Tytel finds the time further improve his nice synth...
(Rhetorical question: He is aware of this thread / this competition... isn't he?)
My Environment: Windows 64bit, Cubase 8.5

Five points for Griffindor!
Just because it's insane doesn't mean it's a bad idea.

Gave out eight 5s.

Here are the artists only. Not listing the songs.

Toggleaudio
DoctorBob
Taron (How did you get those sounds?)
Programator 2
Meakaale
ssj71 & Rob
Jasinski (Same question)
Z.Prime (Same question)

I feel bad that 3 of these people won't make top 5 because they all deserve it but what are you gonna do?

Amazing tracks.
