I actually really actually mean that.
FTR, I don't personally give a crap whether they announce this thing or not. Chances of my getting whatever it is, are slim to none at best.

Not the point that many of you seem to be missing.

This is BAD PR, plain and simple.

If you say you're going to do something, do it. If you don't do it, it just makes you look bad.

I mean we're even talking about the release of a product. Hell, this thing doesn't even have to be ready for a year or two. Nobody is going to care.

But if you say an announcement is coming on Sept 1, damn it, make the f**king announcement. I mean how hard is that? It's not like you have to commit to a time line for getting the product finished.

At almost 7 PM, we shouldn't even be talking about this as an issue. This should have been over and done with already.

So yeah, as little as I personally care, this is VERY BAD PR.

Then f**king tell people that the announcement is going to be Sept 2.

There is ZERO excuse for this.

This is going to be awesome!

• 10 Years in the making
• Makes KVR members bite nails using proprietary algorithms
• Delay can be set to infinity and beyond
• Can make cat pictures appear instantly
• Special Speculation knob added for dialing in that righteous knowitall
• Guaranteed to spawn a KVR poll or cause Wagtunes to list all of his VST again
• $499 pre-order and you get Wusik Station 15 FREE (limited pre-order)
Pre-ordered!

Finally a delay plugin I can set to infinity! With that I can make my arps and pads escape the boundaries of my DAW and rip a hole in the space conitnuum! And thus
With the power of the Realtime Delay Module and my free copy of Wusik Station 15, I will erase EDM from the face of the earth!
I shall begin by disintegrating that awful Omnisphere-EDM library, that has attempted to assassinate my ears numerous times. Without their presets, the EDM-kids shall starve and wither away and bow to me as their superior-KVR-time lord, as I throw pesky shakers in their Fred Perry-clad feet...

Err... now where did I put my that red pill...

I am updating my prediction, it's going to be OmniFlatulator, the definitive fart synthesizer.

Well, in 8 hours, Spectrasonics will have run out of Sept 1.

Wow.. people are pretty critical considering Spectrasonics is the least vapourware software company of anyone.

yea, still a lot time to meet the timeframe. It's 16 o'clock for them. So roughly about finishing workday, starting to prepare for party. It's a product they worked on for 10 years, so that probably deserves some more involvement, than a short, "yea i've uploaded it in the coffee break kinda thing"

This thread is getting seriously out of hand. Next thing a riot will break out. Though, we're going to need a lot of hands and a lot of monitors to carry in front of Spectrasonics HQ.

Not cool! :dog:
If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!

I disagree with the poster who said the "a lie is a lie" line. Eric would only be lying if he purposely tried to deceive us. For all we know he and the rest of his crew have been plagued with technical problems and have been desperately trying to get shown whatever needs to be shown by the technical end of Sept. 1st.....so people do not accuse them of "lying". Hopefully he will at least update us if they are having technical or server related issues that are keeping the news from being put out.
