* Browser with a search bar and drag and drop in the modular area for modules and presets to add things in faster.

* Modular area above MuPads in MuDrum that allows for things like pitch modulation and event delays. Either that or some other method of doing those things without building our own entire drum sampler from scratch or having an extra MUX layer for MuDrum.

* MuPad area in MuDrum overhaul. Instead of having two static samplers, allow for an infinite number of samplers to be added into the same space as the two static samplers and collapse unused samplers to a title bar. Add scroll bar if space exceeds area.

* Sample start and end point modulation.

* Visible modulation in knobs.

* Multi-Point Envelope embed on front panel.

* Steps/Beat on Step Sequencer embed on front panel.

* Ability to turn off knob back panel drag and drop parameter copy (I have a problem with precise clicks and this causes some issues).

* Increase maximum knob size on front panels.

Anyway, thank you for MUX! I just wanted to get my thoughts out.

I dunno about having the browser built into the modular area. I think
it would be better to have a locked mux preset that is a browser. Load
it prior to the mux your working on so you can drag modules or whatever
from it. This would also be handy for loading samples or VST's independently of
the DAW. Pin it open and move it off to the side so it wouldn't be in the way of
whatever your working on. Make it able to preview samples while your at it. :)

-Cheers

*I guess it would be hard to load vst's into a DAW that way, another mux though.
Samples should work, I know of one other vst that will do that already.

There is already a browser in Mux with the search and drag and drop function, go to settings and choose "show browser".
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Wow, thanks! Hopefully the other stuff I listed also exists. xD

You're welcome :)

This also is possible, check the "Basic step sequencer template" in the factory library;)
Mux offers endless possibilities and combinations, have fun :tu:

And, of course, the good example of this is runaudio's Drum Machine/Sequencer -- a good patch to pull apart and see how it was done, change around and do things with, etc.

I meant this thing: Image

Or am I missing it in those examples? I just want a way to change the speed of the sequence from the front panel.

Post

If you want to change playback speed, you should be looking at the BPM indicator on the project, I'd have thought? Or are you trying to change the playback speed of one step sequencer independently of the playback speed of the project?

I misunderstood
You are right, can not add that in the front panel.

This. I want to have control over the subdivisions/speed like an arpeggiator, like 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, etc.

No worries! Thank you anyway. :D

Mmm, yes, those option controls in the Step Sequencer aren't accessible on the MuX front panel. How about something like this, though.

ThreeSpeedArp123.Mux

Tap the pad to switch between the three Arps. Of course, you can load different patterns as well as just having different speeds. To have more options, just add another Step Sequencer, up the number of dispatcher outputs and add the wiring:
