Hi Lowkey.....Re Mackie controller(in my case I have the Emagic one but it now has Mackie funtionality and the Mackie has Logic control now) for controlling all the main hosts.....in short it's f......! unbelievable(in Logic anyway).....between keyboard shortcuts(not necessary but even better) and the controller you will quadruple your workflow.
Just using it for straight ahead mixing it's practically worth it alone and the depth of control is quite amazing...once you get your head around it you will wonder how you will ever do with out it...plug in control and navigation is superb etc....if you are at all interested in Surround then flipping(you can swap rotarys for faders and vice versa for a lot of the functions)the rotary encoders to faders is an absolute scream...the Penny and Giles touch sensitive faders are great.
If Mackie and Jules don't implement this into Tracktion at some point then something is seriously wrong....my biggest wish is this or some degree of it in V2...also the price....I've seen Logic control going for under £500 on the used market and the Mackie has come down in price quite a bit...anyway hope this helps.....personally it's one of the best investments I've made.Hope this helps.

Thank you Motion
Ive been looking around the net to see what people think of it and its all sweetness and light
It seems like alot of the DAW manufaturer's only have half hearted implementation of it...Even though owners seem to love it. If Jules/Mackie support this I'll buy it.
Any news on the C4? I know there is an alternative from Behringer but Id like to know the paramitter Im changing.
Does the Control "read" paramitters from rewired programs?
