Regarding the Tracktion 7 upgrade offer for $21. Where does it say it also works for T5 (even if you got it for free) users?
On their page the say that " T4/T5 free license is not eligible for upgrades except during special sales events"
Is this a "special sales event" and where can i read that?

They usually don't say these details on their webpage. You need to log into your account and check the upgrade price.

Try it out. If it don't work they sure will refund you (I'm pretty sure it will work when you see $21 after login)

I know from a few months ago that the checkout does not let you upgrade unless you are entitled to it, it refuses to go to the checkout. I was pleasantly surprised to see it allowed today, although a message I received from support a few months ago said that there would be a deal coming up for all T5 users.

You also get a Melodyne 4 essentials license too which comes a little while after purchase.

No doubt a nice deal, but I am sticking with my AIR v2 collection, not enough synths in the v3 upgrade

What do you mean? If I am not mistaken it includes the latest Version of every synth they ever made.

Are the versions of Loom, Hybrid different in v2 and v3 ?

Okay, I just checked what V2 contained and the difference between 2 and 3 - Xpand 2 and preset libraries aside - is:

- Structure has been updated to V2

- Strike has been updated to V2

- Velvet has been updated to V2

- The Riser has been added

- DB33 and DB33fx have been added

- Mini Grand has been added

- Creative FX Collection Plus has been added

So - as I have been assuming, there is NOTHING in V2, that isn't in V3 - outdated versions of Structure, Strike and Velvet aside.

FWIW, I purchased AIEP v2 last year and it came with version 2 of Structure, Strike, and Velvet.

Loom
Vacuum Pro
Hybrid 3
Velvet 2
Structure 2
Strike 2
Transfuser 2

I've given up on on a decent offer for a v2 to v3 upgrade. For me, there is not enough difference -- even at this discounted price.
