Getting confusing over here...

I beta tested the Rack Extension version way back when for Sononics. Looks like Audreio has given the GUI a full work-over during development of the plugin version. The new look will definitely help people get past the drawbars, it's surprisingly versatile.

It looks really interesting -personally I think the price is a bit on the high side in this day and age...

b.t.w.: this has been coded by Cakewalk's ex main-plugin-developer, who - amongst other stuff - also developed Z3ta2

It's great that more and more developers are going out of their way to emulate more and more annoying instruments. I trust the Jew's harp and didgeridoo are close behind?

What are you on about?

He's just trolling. But he forgot to mention cowbell.

Organs are a mainstay of modern dance and pop music. But it's flexible and can do more than organ sounds.

Way more than organ sounds! :D

Post

And I don't think it is an organ emulation anyway per se, it's just taken the underlying additive idea that is used in organs (which were the first additive instruments) but in new directions.

it caught my attention the other day and I am going to to possibly end up getting it, I like the concept. We'll see.

I did the purchase, even though the demo was not really what I was longing for. Just a gamble. But it is not bad. More like the opposite.
If you want it to sound like B3, that's not hard to do. If you want maybe it to sound like a cross between B3 and some Farfisa(like I do), that's not very hard either. Really like the drawbars as tools for sculpting any kind of sound. Pleased

Maybe there's something with Revival that appeals to Swedes? I also bought it a couple of days ago, after the gracious promise of a 30 day money-back instead of a demo, by Leo at Audreio.

Needless to say, I won't ask for my money back. Revival is a cool and fun instrument, much more varied than it may seem at first and with a novel and ancient (drawbars from the 1930's!) sound creation method.
