I can confirm that. Not sure if this is intended to work that way or if it is a bug. I put it here: https://github.com/teotigraphix/Framewo ... issues/119
Not the end of the world.

Here are a couple of suggestions for note mode:
Note button
Could be used to arm/unarm selected track; press to arm/unarm selected track, press and hold (or shift+note button) to change the grid. Note button blinks when track is armed.
Scene buttons
Press shift + 1st 4 scene buttons to select scene buttons mode:
Mode 1: Scene launch -> scene buttons launch scenes, playing scene blinks
Mode 2: Scale mode -> you can save your 8 favorite scales. press scale button, select a scale, press and hold one of the scene buttons to save (as global setting). Selected scale is lighted.
Mode 3: chord mode -> press and hold one of the scene buttons a list of chords appears on the screen, select chord, repeat for next scene button (gets saved as global setting).
When in chord mode you can play 1 finger chords and play you're progressions easily.
Mode 4: chord split mode -> the scene buttons change chords as in mode 3 but the grid is split: upper half plays chords, lower part plays 1 note only.

What do you think?

Cheers!

Hi Moss,

It's been a while since I tried, but as far as I know I wasn't able to access FX / NoteFX subchains of devices using the Push 2. This renders devices inside Step Mod, LFO Mod or Note Mod e.t.c. inaccessible from the Push. Am I missing something or is this functionality not in there?

Also, a bug report. Push 2 is not able to control Sends if the Send channels are inside a group. The first send appears to move on the Push 2 display, but nothing happens in Bitwig. The other sends do not respond at all.

Hey Bigwig Community,

I'm trying to use the Push2Display app but when I try to open the "run.command" file it states that I do not have permission to open the file. I went into get info and made sure that I had permission checked off and despite it being marked correct the file still won't open. Other than the display problem, I have been able to use the Push 2 as an instrument but navigating with it and accessing it's other features are lost to me without the display.

I'm on a mac running the latest version of El Capitan as well as Bitwig. I've uninstalled Bitwig and reinstalled the files for the Push 2 to work with Bitwig but despite doing so I am still unable to open the "run.command" file. I've also downloaded BatChmod and tried using that to no avail although I suppose theres a fair chance that I am using it wrong.

Sorry if this issue has come up before and resolved by other members but I went through this forum looking for the same issue as mine and was unable to find a solution.

Advice on how to overcome the issue would be greatly appreciated!

Is it possible to add a bigger drum playing mode? I like to use 4x4 pads (4 pads that make one big one) to play drums, since I record them live and don't really use the sequencer much.

Or is it already possible, how can I activate it??

Thanks Moss, you have really done an amazing work and I just love your plugin!

Open a Terminal and enter the folder, then type:

chmod a+x run.command

Putting Sends into groups has some strange effects. Please report to Bitwig.

No, that's currently not possible.

Hi moss,

when I deactivate a track inside Bitwig and then press the little button to hide the deactivated track, the track is still visible on Push. Can this be improved, please?

Thank you!

Sorry, not possible.

From github:

* Fixed: Mute/Solo+Pad in Drum sequencer did also mute/solo the whole track.

Does this mean that soloing a drumpad doesn't mute all the other tracks (stupid solo behaviour introduced since 1.3.12) or is this only related to the solo button of the drum track?

Cheers!

Should now NOT mute the other tracks.
