I was all for making the noise go to zero, simply also because I expected the reaction. Thing is, it seems to me that while the noise is at -120dB in the spectrum, it is more like -65dB on the VU. I'll have this discussed next week and we'll make a decision.johnnypig wrote:disagreeing with U-He is like taking on Sparta at the Hot Gates.
I'll make a ticket for it and then we shall see...

Given your master's omniscience, perhaps he could code you a noiseless Satin. Failing that, or if he's busy, perhaps he could command Urs to do itchilly7 wrote:[my master for who i make music has perfect hearing and equipment.

It acts only if needed and nobody else can do that instead. It wants that people do good things first but not him instead.el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:Given your master's omniscience, perhaps he could code you a noiseless Satin. It is about -120 on RMS and about -65dB on VU.
P.s. Asperati lowers noise but i have no idea how it will affect sound. I need to cheak manual what it does to sound.

Why don't you post the S1 project with Satin in it and someone will check it.

Holy crap. I've experienced this many times. Never knew it was a thing. Somehow that name makes me feel rather worse about it. I also have frequent, spooky sleep paralysis episodes though. Falling asleep and waking up is a real shitshow in my world.
All other stuff aside though, in my experience it is possible to hear some small amount of noise if you're running several of instances of Satin, but I sometimes see it as a good thing, or at least neutral. Somehow I felt the song lost a tiny intangible something when I started turning the asperity down. Like it almost helps to glue things together a bit. Or am I crazy? Clearly the answer is yes, from the first paragraph of this post, but I think this particular opinion is not totally wrong.
