Does T7 have a pro grey scale GUI yet?
Have used and purchased T2, T4, T5 and T6 but will not move to T7 until color scheme is professionalized or color scheme editor is re-implemented.

It has fixed light and dark schemes with the option to use low detail on either. Low detail eliminates the gradient shading making the objects more flat. The low detail option and the light color scheme were released later after the initial release.RJWlaw@aol.com wrote:Does T7 have a pro grey scale GUI yet?

The simple answer to your question is 'no.' If you like one of the two options it's great. If not, you need to adapt or use another version.
Personally, I use the new dark color scheme along with the Low Detail Interface option.

Thank you; I will hold out with T6 until they provide the option.
My good faith and open-minded attempts with both schemes when they were introduced did not work out well.

I would be thrilled if they would just add a couple of shades of grays to the pallets and allow me to set the saturation of the pallet colors. They are currently way too saturated for my taste.

Maybe T8 will come out in February and have the color editor , a better Sampler , EQ , and effects ... etc etc etc ... And just kill it ..... We'll see ..... I guess a medium color GUI would be grey ??

I never even noticed that they took out the colour editor. It's a strange thing to have removed from previous versions.

...especially since they took it out of Tracktion 5 initially, then added it back in again when everyone complained about it.fromwithin wrote:I never even noticed that they took out the colour editor. It's a strange thing to have removed from previous versions.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

After using T5 I like the color choices. When reading the spec's for T7 I noticed the editor is not included. Hopefully Waveform will have it.
Dark backgrounds are blinding this Ol' fart and kinda preventing me from upgrading, which I definitely want to do. I will keep an eye out(while I still can see) for progress on this and hope it's included in T7 or Waveform.
