Hello, the Problem is in many years. Is it not possible to program your plugins this way, to bring the requester, when the editor window should open the first time ?. maybe DAW do not like when a window come during VST init. I test some years ago sonivox DVI and structure from you( was on win 7 64). problem with freeze was the same. so have nothing todo with win 10. I also disable AVG antivirus. same Problem.

I get an error message after hang the first time. maybe this help to find problem.

about this error, stand this. maybe you can change to _beginthreadex and all work ok. I post in reaper forum too. maybe the DAW need do this

Information for Programmers

This error occurs because the program did not receive enough memory from the operating system to complete a _beginthread or _beginthreadex call, or thread local storage has not been initialized by _beginthread or _beginthreadex.

When a new thread is started, the library must create an internal database for the thread. If the database cannot be expanded by using memory provided by the operating system, the thread does not begin and the calling process stops. This can happen when too many threads have been created by the process, or if thread local storage has been exhausted.

We recommend that an executable that calls the C runtime library (CRT) should use _beginthreadex for thread creation rather than the Windows API CreateThread. _beginthreadex initializes internal static storage used by many CRT functions in thread local storage. If you use CreateThread to create a thread, the CRT may terminate the process with R6016 when a call is made to a CRT function that requires initialized internal static storage.

Hello I read the pace want 25$ per licence transfer. I test and when your VST start and not hang in pace protection they work stable sound very good and i get no crash. so i get the idea to go to the risc and buy "Air Music Instrument Expansion 3 Upgrades Exclusive Sale" for around 85$. if later during win 10 updates or so, pace copy protection fail or it not work, then i can sell. But because the pack contain many instruments 25$ per instrument is horrible high. Is then the 25$ price possible to transfer the whole Pack ?. i read here

about pace: First before the video they told i should write to plugin developer.I send video to pace that show the freeze and they give some answer and they see too, that it is problem of pace. so they tell me more steps i should try. But not help and they tell if not help i should write to pace again. they answer in 1-2 days currently, thats ok

Hello,

As the pack is now issued as one code the transfer cost would be capped at $25.
However in the three years we have been using this solution this was the first issue we have had with the service so you shouldn't face any issues once this is resolved.

hello the problems seem happen in the demo mode only(because only here the requester is show), because my xpand work good. I have test many pace protectet plugins as demo over the years(begin from 2014) but in the past, i was too lazy to write a bug report or ask in a forum, because i see no important need to buy a pace protectet VST, other are too good. but air VST is really good and good price, so i look more about that problem. I have over 22 ended demos in the hidden view of licence manager. and all make more or less problems.

Maybe other too have problems with the demo try mode, but spend no time to write report so you did not know that it fail. All know that there is many buggy software out or work on some PC not. really strange wy paste protection not work and randomly over many years on my PC with 64 bit.today when i start cubase the licences of fx collection demos are not find. a second start and it bring me a requester to let me choose where to store licences, i choose then my pc and the account to my ilok account should input. i choose it and the demo continue.

after some write with pace, and i do testing find that Problem is jamstix 3.6.5 (newest version). if this is add in a song, the demo requester hang when a pace plugin is add. happen in cubase 8 too. strange that a other VST can block pace requester. i buy now the air pack for good price and it work too with jamstix, after register on win 10
