[Solved] Sylenth 1 3.02 Auxhost crashes constantly (OS X 10.11.5, Cubase 8.5 64 bit)

Hi,

I just upgraded to Sylenth 1 3.02 to use it as native 64 bit on Cubase 8.5.

Sylenth 1 launches and plays fine as one single instance however, if I remove the instance or add a new one - the system crashes Auxhost with Error 30. It is also unable to recover so I need to reboot the mac to get it to work again.

Oddly, the plugin shows under 'Bridged plugins' though I thought this version is native 64.

Can anyone help?

Hi,

Auxhost belongs to jBridge. You should make sure NOT to use jBridge to run Sylenth1 in Cubase! Remove jBridge and any bridged copies of the plugin.

Sylenth1 v3.02 is available in both 32 and 64bit. While installing Sylenth1, you can choose which bitversion you want to install. It is recommended to install only the 64bit version if you use the 64bit version of Cubase.

Cubase comes with its own bridge btw. There might not be a point of using jBridge anyway.

Indeed, this worked perfectly - complete uninstall of jbridge did it!
