Maybe there is some hidden setting (or some nonhidden but named differently) on the second page...

The Legend does not use multiple cores - DUNE 2 does, but not The Legend. Legend is vectorized using SSE, so it does not tax the other cores at all. Hence a comparison is only meaningful when turning off multi-core processing.Elektronisch wrote:You must be doing something wrong. Im playing chord sequence of each chord containing 4 notes same type patch:
Diva - Devine Quality - Polyphonic Mode - Multicore On - 8%
The Legend - 8%

Thanks for the patches, will have a look ASAP.Teksonik wrote:Here's an add on pack of 32 patches for The Legend:

Richard, Have you submitted The Legend for the KVR database ? We can't add patches here for it until it's added to the database.
Massive has always done the 4 voices together as well... doesn't stop having more than 4 voices.chk071 wrote:Well, no. Not the way i understood it.pdxindy wrote:
So, with the amount of cpu it is using, you could run two such simulations for 8 voices... or 3 for 12 voices, etc. The computer can handle it.
Running multiple instances is another thing. The key idea in The Legend is to process large parts of the voices, in particular the CPU-demanding VCF and VCA, entirely in parallel using SSE. Since SSE does 4 things in parallel, this means 4 voices poly or unison can be computed in parallel.
Thanks, I was looking in the wrong area. It wasn't listed in the Banks and Patches area because no one had uploaded any patches yet. I've uploaded this add on pack.Ingonator wrote: You could find The Legend at KVR here:

What would you like to modulate per voice ?pdxindy wrote:Posts have been coming so quickly I think my previous question got lost... can Legend when in unison, modulate per voice?
(Okay, I could download the demo and try but if someone can answer...)
Thanks.Teksonik wrote:Here's an add on pack of 32 patches for The Legend:
