Cyclop "Invalid"-*Solved*

Hi all,

i installed Cyclop a few times but it just doesn't work. Wenn i open Cyclop it shows me the Gui but with an "Invaled" tag next to the Cyclop logo. The preset Browser is completly empty.

All Cyclop files have "full rights" for all users.

Any ideas? I'm on win7 64bit

Sounds like you didn't enter the serial number correctly.

He would have not be able to install without a valid serial.

It works when i start it as Admin but not in my normal User account. Presets empty and instant crash when click on something browser related.

I got an email from SB Support (very quick!) and test a few things out when i get home.

For future reference to all other readers of this post. I realised after experiencing the same problem that; if you enter a Serial No. from another Sugar Bytes product you own (e.g.. a different SB product from the one you are trying to Activate) it will be accepted BUT the plugin will be "invalid"

Solution: Uninstall/Move to Trash and re-install the product with the correct corresponding serial number.

In other words: If you try to activate Cyclop with an Egoist serial number it will load but will be "Invalid"

Dude, thanks for posting the info. I was stumped. A quick addition: In my frustration I found that if you open the plugin you can click "invalid" and a separate box will pop up with the serial number. It doesn't look click-able, but you CAN click the serial number and it will give you the option to input text. Just paste the correct number and you're set. No uninstall/reinstall needed.
