Well I've been using the Demo experimenting with various sounds and projects. Using it with the Colored Spaces presets from Patchpool and finding these to be excellent. Adaptiverb appears to be exploring new technologies for reverberation, is unique and powerful so convinced and having a need to solidify the setup I just now bought it even though the Demo period won't be used up for a couple of weeks. It's extremely interesting and fun to explore what it does to the sound in combination with a delay unit like u-he MFM 2 or UVI Relayer yes used this way gives very good results indeed. I've even tried sending a whole mix with various Adaptiverb effected sounds into Trash 2 to get distorted saturated reverbrance. Highly Recommended from Copenhagen!
I'm experiencing pretty good performance with my iMac i7 4 Ghz. The long processing time seems to be the entry price for gaining access to the advanced technologies used, the time button sends dry signal more directly to the output so it can be used despite the long processing time which can aid the workflow when composing etc.

waves break, but somehow it all makes sense.

I've been using for about a week since I stumbled on it. I ultimately decided to pull the trigger on it because I found a good use for it. It definitely can take up a lot of CPU power but I just offload the processing by running Adaptiverb on a separate computer altogether.
For now, I get great results using Adaptiverb Verb on Cellos, pianos, guitars, and synths. I don't like what it does with vocals...just my 2 cents. Compared to Shimmer...they can have a similar sound at times but each have their own unique capability. For now, Adaptiverb is great but I would like to see more flexibility on controlling the AI algorithms. I think I'll email them again regarding this.

Good point.Jedinhopy wrote:Does the factory presets that contains the freeze button already pressed when loaded does not make any sound if you came from the default preset which has the freeze button unpressed?4ndy wrote:I've just found out from Denis that my earlier problem, being unable to save my own drone presets, has been fixed with the latest build. A quick test confirms that fact, so all is good and I am a happy man
The reverb freeze presets that you create with the latest build of the adaptiverb plugin recalls perfectly when reloaded. But then if you first opened a reverb freezed preset that you just recently created with the latest version of the adaptiverb plugin. And that preset has the freeze button pressed when loaded.
Then when you open a factory preset that has the freeze button pressed. Your user created reverb freeze buffer is carried over into there.
So the factory presets that claims to have reverb freezed sounds.
Does not make any sound if you first loaded that default preset and then loaded that infinite reverb freeze factory preset that has the freeze button pressed that the default preset didn't have.
The reverb freeze presets you create with the latest version of adaptiverb works perfectly when reloaded.
But then if you directly switch to one of the factory presets that has the reverb freeze button already pressed. Then the contents of your user created reverb freeze buffer is still used and not the reverb freeze buffer that the factory preset has that has the reverb freeze button already pressed when loaded.
The updated version seems to solve some of these issues.

Here is Adaptiverb on a sampled guitar:

Really like the "personality" of this reverb.
Gotta a sound all its own.

Oh damn.. i run it into jbridge in perfomance mode and it show about 3% usage on my pc
I think it is necessary to buy.
(But nonetheless would be good if will do some performance improvements in future of course).
So, what about save freeze preset ? It really dont work for now ? Just i also try just now and silent after reload. Sorry i not quite understood via earlier posts, how to reproduce working way for it now (if possible).

I am sure that once version 1.1 is finally released then saving FREEZE presets will not be a problem. At least that is the case on my system anyway.c_voltage wrote: So, what about save freeze preset ? It really dont work for now ? Just i also try just now and silent after reload. edit:-
In fact, and I know that certain people will not be happy when I say this, the FREEZE option isn't essential for creating drone pads. The following piece is made up of just two tracks.
https://soundcloud.com/synkrotron/ianira
The first track is the drone and is created by sending a sequence provided by my MS-20 VSTi, which I automate various parameters like cutoff and resonance, amongst other things. This created the ever changing pad sound for the duration of the piece.
The second track is me noodling away on my guitar. I have Guitar Rig in the effects bin but I also have an instance of Adaptiverb on a separate bus and I send the processed guitar signal to it.

Honestly surprised by how much the jbridge reduces cpu load. But what it is - specificity of my system or the potential for optimization plugin? (a rhetorical question)

BTW, just noticed, VST3 version does not detected in daw, for some reason. (Maybe because i install both versions to the same folder ? Not sure)
Well, this moment not critical, i anyway use vst2, but for just in case.
(Win 7 64bit, studio one 2)

Err, who on earth should be concerned how you create your drones and pads in Adaptiverb, I mean it's not like you're being blasphemous against the FREEZE-button.4ndy wrote:

Oh no.
It seems there is a some problem with properly save\recall after re-load saved project. I noticed that after project re-open the timbre\sound texture become sound differently a much.
I try explain it in example.
========
Let's take preset #011 from section #6 (Voice Colored Reverbs And Effects), preset called "011 HCF-Hold_Voice-ish Epifying..." etc
Make simple project in daw with this preset as is, i mean not to change anything in preset.
Save project, and then load again - the sound will be significantly different.
For comparison, we can load now again this preset #011 from factory list, and hear how the sound changes - but Now in the right direction, sound texture becoming exactly as it was before save-reload the project.
=========
I reproduce it with\and without bridge, in studio one v2 and v3, all the same.
Please check it, this is a significant problem.
(Win 7 64bit vst2)
(Maybe this problem has related roots with the freeze saving ? Who know)
