Thank you folks!

574X: Could you record some screen video? Personally I'm pretty sure there must be something else in your system doing that, because I use Reaper with the plugins here all the time, no problems whatsoever. I could think of GPU acceleration - first update GPU drivers and Windows. If it won't help, click Settings in one of the plugins and disable GPU acceleration.

I agree, Guenon. The Melda free bundle is incredible. I'm so grateful.

I could go on and on about how amazing just the MEqualizer is with its multiple excellent analyzers, better tone than the Live EQ Eight (does MEQ handle the phase issues better?), some of the steepest, most voluptuous curves in the business (120db!), and since that's far exceeded our expectations - just wait, :o it has analog band saturation! a limiter! a time graph! macro controls! selectable harmonic filters! morphing! a randomizer! side eq! great in bed & cooks!

One solution in Reaper I've found is that you can right click the plugin in the browser > Run > either dedicated or separate process so that the bridging plugin host crashes separately from the DAW, and you can still save and relaunch the project exactly where you left off. :hyper:

AFAIK, Running plugins as a separate or dedicated process in Reaper creates a bridging window, which is very nice in Reaper because you can press Esc to close windows, unlike in Live.

Similarly, in Live I have problems with Melda causing those temporary white-out, "not responding" screens  , but I don't remember it crashing the DAW (which is a good sign).

I'm also glad that Melda stopped opening up my browser, in what seemed like every time I loaded it up. Maybe it's because I made firewall blocks for my DAWs, but I'm not sure that always affects the ..effects.

Oh! I see you here on the second page Melda.
I'll see if disabling GPU Acceleration does the trick since I have integrated graphics, thanks! :hyper:

My pleasure ;). The white screen indeed looks like GPU thing. Don't forget to update the drivers first, especially if you use ATI or Intel GPU.
And thanks!!
