Hi all!

I'm a long time, VERY satisfied Tracktioneer. I use tracktion for my living, working as a full time producer/engineer in my studio.
In the latest update a cpl of things however irritates me a lot...

1) when exporting/rendering audiofiles from tracks, and clicking "render each track to a separate file", there used to be an option called "only render selected tracks" - and it's gone!
This means that nowadays I have to either only export one track at the time, or ALL tracks.
Sucks.

2) Soloing a submix track doesn't work. Even if I don't use the shortcut "create submix track containing" and make a new track, which I manually point "track destination" to for a number of tracks.
REALLY sucks.

PLEASE consider re-activating these vital functions!

Best regards from Sweden!

I just remembered one more... :-)
3) If i use the option "merge the selected clips" (under the "render clips button), and then decide to change the gain of the newly merged clip, it splits up into the previous clips again...
Sucks not so much, but still... :-)

The way to do this is to select and hi light all the tracks you want to export. Go to the export tab. Select render each track separate it will now only render the selected tracks and have all separate. Hope this helps :tu:

Sorry, but it does not work that way.

If I highlight a cpl o tracks and do as you suggest, it still exports ALL tracks.
That's the problem...

You are right. This is a must fix TSC.

Try soloing the submix and the track(inside the submix) you want to hear, if you enable it on both, it should work.

Shouldnt we have a dedicated stickied T7 bugs thread? Would seem sensible, there's one for T6 and T5...
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."
