Hi

I have a couple of questions about setting up some defaults in Diva -

1) How does one go about making the default/initialize patch in Diva? I tried making my own Initialize.h2p patch in ~/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Diva but it seems to be ignored so I'm obviously doing this wrong :?

2) As some parameters in Diva such as Accuracy and Offline Accuracy are not stored in a patch, is there a way to set the defaults to my liking in a preferences file or some other mechanism?

cheers!

I have been trying to find this out myself....so will follow this thread.

Any luck on this front?

It'd be great to be able to start from scratch, I just got this and I'm loving the sound so far but I'd rather not have to deconstruct a preset just to start from the beginning. I think I'm just going to start tearing some stuff apart, If I can manage to reduce it to a simple saw wave (a la Zebra's initialize) I'll post the patch here.

1) Try 'default' for a patch name

2) Not possible at the moment, but frequently requested and on the to-do list

Look in the Templates folder. There are several different init patches that represent the dry "out of the box" setup for different devices eg "pure" minimoog etc or hybrid starting points.

INIT Alpha
INIT June-60
INIT Jupe-6
INIT Jupe-8
INIT Minimono
INIT Minipoly
INIT Mongrel-1
INIT Mongrel-2
INIT MS-Rev1
INIT MS-Rev2

This. default.h2p in root preset directory will do the trick.

For reasons yet beyond my comprehension, quality setting is not stored in this (but might be later, or in vein of a general preference solution)

I'm really sorry, and feel really dumb...but, where would I find this exactly, please? I couldn't figure it out.
Ha ha suck it!

Just save a preset as default.h2p and make sure it's in the root folder for presets.
