Windows 10 Pro, T7 64-bit latest build, just reinstalled Kontakt Player, Replika, etc.
To reproduce:
- Fire up T7
- Drop Kontakt Player 5 in a track
- Load an instrument (for me, Kinetic Metal)
- play a bit
- delete the plugin
- T7 silently crashes to desktop
Is this just a me thing?

It's worse!!!
Re-installed my Nomad Factory plugins, and when deleted they too cause T7 to poof silently to the desktop.
Running as admin had no effect, by the way.
And, for what it's worth, installing T6 and trying to delete a VST does the same thing - pow, hello desktop.

More info: I re-installed all my PSP Audioware plugins, and they insert and delete without poofing Tracktion!
Even WEIRDER: If I leave an instance of a PSP plugin up, I can add and delete NF plugins with no poofing!
I wonder if the poof only happens when the last VST is removed.. will test soon..

Final post of the night - yep, when I delete the LAST VST plugin, so that there are no more (only native plugins), Tracktion dies of loneliness (or something).
At least I now know how to keep T7 from dying, so I can get on with my work. If there's more info or testing you'd like me to do, just ask.

It could just be this machine, I know this box has weird anti-virus stuff on it from the IT guy so that might do it.
Does T7 write a log file somewhere? That might help me figure things out...
Regardless, at least I have a workaround so I do't have to re-install SONAR X3 (shudder)!
