How do you sync tracktion and reaktor?

Here's the problem:

I'm running battery as a plugin in tracktion, and with the IAC bus drivers (i'm a mac user), i record midi into tracktion from the "drum 16" instrument which i cut out of the "memory drum" ensemble in reaktor 4 (that's because it's a very flexible tool for creating drum loops, much more user-friendly than the midi editor in tracktion)- that means reaktor is running as a standalone.

Problem is, that when I record the loop i made, I have to spend hours to find the exact start of the loop and cut it out of a midi clip in tracktion. Also i can't listen to other tracks in trackion while editing the drum loop, as they're not in sync with the ensemble.

So: i'm looking for a way to sync reaktor and trackion, so that when i hit the start or record button in tracktion, the reaktor ensemble also starts (or vice-versa).

Anyone got any ideas?
